Wannabe entertainers are being invited to audition for Basingstoke’s Got Talent.
Those who make it through will jump into the spotlight at this year’s Basingstoke Variety Show.
“This is a call-out to local performers, especially unknown solo acts and groups, to audition to take part in this fantastic community show,” said producer Ian Aherne.
“This year’s show promises to be bigger and better than ever before – so if you can sing, dance, play a musical instrument, tell jokes or have any other theatrical talent, we would love to see you on the stage.”
Auditions take place on Saturday at Queen Mary’s College and are open to individuals and groups of all ages who live in, or are closely connected with the borough.
The Basingstoke Variety Show is being held at the Anvil on October 7 and will raise funds for the mayor’s charity appeal.
Last year’s show featured more than 350 performers showcasing local talent from around the borough.
Audition slots must be booked in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or alternatively, an audition video can be sent to the same address.
