A Basingstoke initiative to help Hampshire entrepreneurs has launched this week.
Borough bosses have been working with the South East England Development Agency to establish a new business innovation centre in Basing View after research showed a demand for incubator start-up facilities – which will help formative companies grow.
Greenham Common Trust has also joined the venture to help replicate a similar initiative already established in Newbury.The Trust has acquired Norden House, in the town centre, from the council as the base for the business innovation centre.
The facility will offer secretarial and accountancy support as well as meeting spaces where businesses can share knowledge and ideas.
