People are being urged to nominate their hospital heroes for an annual award ceremony.
Hampshire Hospitals has launched its seventh Director of Nursing Awards for staff at Basingstoke Hospital, Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, Alton Community Hospital and Bordon Community Hospital.
Members of the public, patients, and staff working at the four centres are being urged to put forward staff who have gone the extra inch up for nomination.
Chief nurse Donna Green said: “We are delighted to launch the seventh annual Director of Nursing Awards.
“We would love to hear from patients or visitors who feel that individuals or teams have gone beyond the call of duty to give exceptional care.
“We are encouraging patients and the public to nominate nursing staff across all of our hospital sites.”
Awards are given to individuals and teams across all the foundation trust’s clinical areas.
The May awards ceremony will feature three special awards, the overall winner sponsored by The Rotary Club of Basingstoke Deane, the Ann Daniels memorial award and the Wallace award.
Nominations are open until May 31, and the awards will be presented at Oakley Hall on July 5.
