A teenager was killed after his moped collided with a parked car this week.
Eighteen-year-old Kieran Clark, of West Ham Close, was killed following a crash between a moped and Land Rover on a Basingstoke housing estate on early Saturday morning, March 27. Police believe neither the driver, nor his passenger, were wearing safety helmets.
The incident occurred at about 3am, when the Kymo Heroism moped collided with the front of a silver Land Rover parked in Pinkerton Road. The moped driver suffered fatal head injuries and died at North Hampshire Hospital.A pillion passenger, a 17-year-old girl, was treated for minor abrasions.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the collision or saw the moped being driven prior to the incident.
