Family of tragic teen grateful for support

The parents of tragic Basingstoke teen Kieran Clark have thanked well-wishers for their support.

Kieran was killed following a collision with a aprked 4X4 at about 3am on Saturday, March 27 in Pinkerton Road, South Ham. He suffered fatal head injuries and died at North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke.

Kieran’s parents released this statement: “Kieran, our loving son, most fantastic brother to George and Anthony, as well as grandson, great-grandson, nephew, and cousin to many. Kieran loved life and lived it to the full. He always knew how to cheer you up with his cheeky grin and witty remarks.

“He had the most infectious personality, which explains the amount of friends he had, most of them knowing him simply as ‘Key’, Kieran held all his family and friends in such high regard. We are astounded and comforted by the number of people leaving such beautiful messages with flowers, on cards and also on Facebook groups set up in memory of Kieran, which more than 1,100 people have joined.

“He was tragically taken too soon. None of us will ever run out of tears for darling Kieran – forever young. Anyone wishing to attend the funeral would be welcome. It will be held on Wednesday, April 14, at 1pm at Trinity Church, Sarum Hill, Basingstoke.”

Police till wish to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the moped being driven.
