A Basingstoke online radio station had to switch websites because its servers were hacked twice.
Bizz Radio, which is set to launch on September 20, found their site had been hacked on Tuesday, August 17 and Friday, August 27.
The attacks altered the banners across the website directing viewers to a Turkish page. Bizz Radio also found that some website data had been removed
The new online station was forced to change its website design and hosting company and moved over to Basingstoke company, The Missing Dimension.
Bizz Radio’s director Phil Wickham said: “We believe that everything happens for a reason and whilst the website hacking was a real distraction, we wouldn’t have got the opportunity to work with them if they hadn't.
“We are absolutely delighted with what they have achieved for us and incredibly grateful for the huge effort he put into getting it live so quickly. They said to us that they had squeezed 30 days work into eight days.”
The Missing Dimension Director, Ian Cooper said: “Despite the urgency it is essential the website can be easily managed as Bizz Radio evolves. It was not our typical schedule but we are happy to be involved, and have already received orders because of the new website.”
