Hospital staff are little gems

Week_32_Pin_awards_Chris_Lee_8-08-2010Hospital staff who have provided 610 years of combined service were honoured were honoured with diamond and emerald encrusted gold pins.

Sixty-four members of staff at BMI The Hampshire Clinic in Basingstoke were presented with their awards at a special event held at the hospital on June 30.

Staff members were awarded special long service pins presented by BMI Healthcare South West Director, Rory Passmore and the Clinic's Executive Director Philip O'Ehley.

Mr O'Ehley said: We are delighted to be awarding so many long service pins to our staff this year. The awards are a true testament to the dedication and commitment of our staff.”

One of the awards, a gold pin with 3 encrusted diamonds, was awarded to Chris Lee, Ward and Outpatient Matron, for her 25 years working with the hospital.

Six staff members were given 20-year long service awards, a gold pin bearing two diamonds and an emerald.

15, 10 and 5-year long service awards were also presented to 57 other staff members for their work at the Basing Road private hospital.
