BASINGSTOKE GP Doctor Hilary Jones left ITV show Dancing on Ice this week after losing the dreaded ‘skate-off’. Despite being one of the weaker competitors in the group, Dr Jones made it through five weeks thanks to the public vote but was not so lucky this time around. Having been pitted against former Coronation Street actor Danny Young the panel of judges unanimously voted against him. Judge and Spice Girl Emma Bunton delivered a scathing report, telling him: “I don’t think the competition can truly start while you’re still in it.”
