Lord Sainsbury welcomed the creation of hundreds of new jobs after opening a revamped store.
Sainsbury's in Kempshott opened their newly extended store on Wednesday August 25.
Lord Sainsbury was joined by two employees who have worked at the same store for 22 years.
Store manager Chris Locks said: “We are honoured to have Lord Sainsbury reopen our store and are excited to be giving residents in Kempshott and the Basingstoke area even greater choice in their weekly shop. The store is looking fantastic.
The Hatch Warren store has set up a new cafe, boosted the number of tills and introduced ten self-scan tills.
The revamp hopes to help Kempshott by bringing in local produce, including Buffalo mozzerella from Laverstoke Farm, owned by ex-F1 world champion, Jody Sheckter.
In conjunction, the new store will continue with their new charity initiative. Customers helped the store to chose Open Sight Basingstoke as their charity partner. The charity helps visually impaired people in the borough.
