Naomi House Children's Hospice are calling for people to sign up for their first ever charity auction.
The charity evening will be held on Friday, October 15. The evening includes a three course dinner hosted by Basingstoke comedian Jan Jack.
With support from Basingstoke IT company, Computer 2000, the event will have a personalised wedding dress, spa days and golf days going under the auctioneers hammer.
Jackie Brownlee, Human Resources Director and Computer 2000, said: “Naomi House is particularly close to our hearts and is regularly nominated by Computer 2000 employees for the great work that it does supporting hundreds of children and their families cope with life limiting conditions. We are proud to be sponsoring such a great event.”
Naomi House spokesperson, Debbie Loveridge, said: “The evening has been made possible by local people and businesses from Basingstoke donating prizes and promises towards the event.
“The money raised from the event will go towards the £5million annual running costs it takes to keep the doors of Naomi House and Jacksplace open. With only 15% of this total coming from the government, the charity relies on fundraising events and the support of people in the local community.”
The evening starts at 7am and costs £25 per head. Contact the fundraising office on 01962 843513 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to book tickets.
