The new Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane has announced the charities he will be supporting over the next 12 months.
Cllr Keith Chapman was sworn in last month along with his wife Jennifer.
He will focus on business, young people and music with funds raised throughout the Mayoral year going towards Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association, The Alzheimer’s Society – Basingstoke Division and the Destination Basingstoke grassroots Community Foundation Fund.
The Mayor said: “I am looking forward to the coming year and the chance to meet local businesses and young people, all of whom make our borough a place to be proud of.”
