Hampshire County Council is calling for people keen on helping older residents stay safe to sign up for a course run in Whitchurch.
Hampshire’s Better Balance for Life programme will train up a new wave of instructors to run course for pensioners to improve strength, balance and coordination.
The seven-day course is held for over three months at the Gill Nethercott Centre, Whitchurch. The March 3 course costs £595, and the county council will pay back £300 after completion and two 12-week community courses have been run.
