Scientists and engineers at Aldermaston's nuclear weapons base are considering a new pay offer following a two-week deadlock.
Workers' union Prospect has been in talks with the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) in a bid to settle the dispute.
Last month, over 500 union members walked out in a mass protest over a pay offer of two per cent.
A second wave of strikes planned at AWE last week was called off at the last minute after Prospect negotiator Bob King was offered a new deal.
The revised offer will give workers a 2.5 per cent pay rise.
AWE awards pay rises based on performance, so the highest achievers could get more and the lowest could get one per cent.
The revised offer has been put to a ballot, which closes on Monday.
Prospect spokesman Graham Stuart said: “The union has recommended that members accept the revised offer.”
He said the pay rise will also be awarded to non-union members at the site.
