A record 30,000 revellers basked in 30degree heat as Basingstoke Live returned to the town last weekend.
The War Memorial Park was transformed as the region’s top free music festival showed why it is getting bigger and better every year. Headliners the Scratch Perverts wowed the crowds with an energetic set but it is the universal appeal of Basingstoke Live that is behind its success.
Young and old alike were able to enjoy a whole host of musical genres, while entertainment for the youngsters ensured a family feel to the weekend.
