PC Daniel Coppin, of the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This was a completely unprovoked assault that happened at a petrol station in the middle of the afternoon. There were other people on the forecourt at the time of the assault and we would ask anyone with any information to contact us as soon as possible.”
