A woman barged into a Basingstoke house and damaged the front door, claiming to be looking for a man who did not live at the address.
The woman, believed to be aged 40 to 45, knocked on the door of the house house in Cayman Close at 9.30pm on Sunday September 19.
When the couple who own the house opened the door, the woman pushed her way pass them, shouting that she was looking for a man named ‘Jason’.
After the owners told her that the man did not live there, the woman, who had shoulder-length blonde hair, left but then started kicking and punching the front door.
She was white, 5ft 5ins tall and wore a silver or grey cardigan, black leggings and high-heeled boots.
PC Vincent Lane of the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team wants to hear from witnesses to the incident or anyone who knows the woman.
If you have information, call PC Lane at Basingstoke police station on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
