Police are on the hunt for ‘mindless’ vandals following a spate of criminal damage in Tadley.
The incidents occurred overnight between Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5.
Between 9pm on Friday and 8am on Saturday a car parked in Stratfield Avenue was vandalised after it was sprayed with paint – hundred of pounds worth of damaged was caused to the Nissan Turano.
At about the same time the front wall of an address in Rectory Close had paint sprayed onto it and officers believe both incidents are linked.
PC Mark Pullman, of the Tadley Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said: “This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and has resulted in hundreds of pounds worth of damage.
“Anyone found to be responsible for this kind of mindless criminal damage will be dealt with robustly.
“We would ask anyone with any information about the incidents to contact us as soon as possible.
“Residents are reminded to report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood to police.”
Anyone with information can contact PC Pullman at Tadley police station on 101 or by calling the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
