A robber stole £600 worth of make up following a raid at a Brighton Hill store at the end of last month.
The incident occurred at around 3pm on Wednesday, March 31 when a man entered the Boots store, in Brighton Hill Parade and began removing Boots No 7 make up. He was challenged by a female staff member but pushed her out f the way as he ran off towards Gershwin Road. He is described as white, in his mid 20s, 5ft 10ins, slim build wearing a light coloured bomer jacket, a cream basbeball cap and carrying a Lidl’s freezer bag.
PC Martyn Evans, from the Basingstoke Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This was an isolated incident that took place at a busy time of day and left a member of staff shaken by what happened. I would like to hear from anyone who has information about this robbery, or has been approached by a man trying to sell them make up.”
