Pupils at Marnel Junior School were given a lesson in playing safe thanks to housing developer Taylor Wimpey.
A group of more than 200 youngsters were taught about the dangers of playing on or around building sites by Kim Jacob, from the housebuilder's nearby Everest Park developments.
Falling scaffolding, bricks, pipes, sharp metal and moving vehicles have all been highlighted as potential dangers to curious youngsters on the Popley site.
The school was also provided with high-visibility vests to improve youngsters safety while out on school excursions.
Kim commented: “Children are naturally curious about the things going on around them and building sites probably look like fun places to play, but I think Marnel pupils now understand that they're anything but. I am pleased to have been able to spread such a valuable message to so many youngsters.”
