A north Hampshire town is set to take up the eco-fight by joining a nationwide campaign.
Greening Tadley will be set up at the town’s annual meeting later this month where bosses hope to pull together to combat climate change.
She said: “The campaign is great fun. It gives the community a way to work together to tackle climate change and makes it a positive experience instead of a nightmare.”
Tadley town council chairman Jo Slimin explained: “Climate change has worried many of our residents for a long time now and we thought it was time that we acted together to make som small changes that will make a big difference. This is why we are starting ‘Greening Tadley.’
The meeting will be held at the town council offices on Monday, April 12 at 7pm.
