Olympic ski jump legend Eddie the Eagle Edwards will be challenging all takers to a Ski Jump competition during Festival Place's Snow Fest.
The challenge is one of the many events held in Festival Place over the weekend of August 14 and15.
The shopping centre will be transformed during the weekend with indoor snow falls, a James Bond type Ski-Doo snowmobile, a 50ft snowman and a inflatable toboggan run.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming the snow and Eddie the Eagle to Festival Place,” said Centre Director Steven Connolly.
“It will be fun all the way without any of the hassle that excessive snow can sometimes bring with it. All people have to do is enjoy themselves!
Challengers to Eddies crown, can, for a small donation, take on the legend in a Wii Ski Jumping Challenge with the best performers winning prizes from Gamestation.
