Hampshire history will come to life in a series of lectures organised by the county council.
The county’s museum service is organising six lectures over the coming months from vintage vehicles to discovering insects.
Hampshire county council executive member for culture and recreation, Cllr Margaret Snaith-Tempia, said: “Hampshire’s museums contain many keys to the area’s past. The lectures will unlock the secrets behind these objects giving an insight into how people used to live and work and how their cultures still influence us today.”
The lectures take place at 2pm on Thursday afternoons at Chilcomb House with a second series anticipated during the autumn – they are free of charge but anyone wishing to attend is asked to pre-boook on 01962 826700.
