Teams from across the UK pulled together from a UK-wide tug of war competition at the Vyne School in Basingstoke on Saturday.
Organised by the Basingstoke Malayalee Cultural Association, nearly 200 people attended the tournament with six teams battling it out for the title.
Association president Sajish Tom opened the event with a ceremonial flag waving, while trophies were handed out by Islam Jalaita, community development officer of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
Host side Basingstoke finished fourth, with Worcester taking the honours ahead of Stoke and Liverpool. Sides from Cambridge and Chichester also took part. Mr Tom said: "The tournament was brilliant."
