A team of ladies from Great Guns Marketing will be taking on this year’s Race for Life in Basingstoke in memory of a colleague.
The team, headed by Liz Jackson, will be taking on the 10k charity challenge to remember Debbie Jenkins, who passed away last year after suffering from cancer.
Liz, who appeared on Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire, is a well-known entrepreneur in the town and said she is excited by the event.
“We’re really looking forward to taking part in this year’s race and each have our individual reasons for wanting to raise money for Cancer Research,” she said.
“It’s also great to have the rest of Great Guns behind us every step, limp and jog of the way.
“It is such a good way for everyone to get together and help raise money for such an excellent cause in Debbie’s memory.”
A team of 14 ladies will be joining around 1,000 other women at Down Grange on Saturday, July 19.
