MP supports nurses issues

MP James Arbuthnot has given his support to a campaign aimed at highlighting the key issues for the nursing community ahead of this summer’s general election.

The Tory met with nursing bosses and students from the Nursing Counts campaign, organised by the Royal College of Nursing.

James said: “The students and nurses I met were keen and highly committed to delivering an excellent health service for he twenty-first century. It is essential that nursing and nurses are given the support and recognition that they deserve and that we do all that we can to back a profession which is vital to the quality of care we all enjoy. I am therefore very pleased to support the RCN’s Nursing Counts campaign.”
