NHS Hampshire is launching a new health drive at the Ark Conference Centre today (Thursday).
Health authorities across the south east have teamed up to target bowel cancer.
The campaign is urging people aged over 50 to go to the doctors if they exhibit any symptoms of bowel cancer.
The disease claims up to 16,000 lives across the UK each year.
