Chinn signs for next Bison season

nicky_chinnBasingstoke Bison have announced two further signings for their 2011/12 English Premiere League Campaign.

Captain Nicky Chinn will return for his third season with the Herd. Chinn’s 2010/11 season saw him as the highest points scoring British player in the squad.

The talented Welshman bagged 61 points from a haul of 12 goals and 49 assists. Very few players match Chinn’s wealth of experience making him a crucial component in Steve Moria’s team.

Having started his career in Cardiff in 1988, the 38-year-old has played for Superleague sides Sheffield Steelers and London Knights.

And throughout a long standing career, the centre has scored for the Guildford Flames, Nottingham Panthers, Bracknell Bees and played alongside Bison’s player and coach Moria at the Slough Jets.

The Herd have also announced the signing of Marcel Petran. The 24-year-old Slovakian has notched up game experience with Slovakian major league side HK32 Liptovsky Mikulas.

To date, Kurt Reynolds, Moria, Tony Redmond, Sam Oakford, Chris Wiggins, and Ollie Bronnimann have been confirmed for next season.
