Week35_Basingstoke_Town_FC-1Basingstoke Town FC are inviting supporters of Premier League, Championship and Football League clubs to come to the Camrose to watch The Dragons take on Braintree Town in the Blue Square Bet South on Non League Day, Saturday September 4.

The day is half price entry if you can produce either a season ticket or a used ticket stub from the current season from any professional club.

Dragons' glory run ends with double blow

Football9-2Basingstoke Town’s fine run of results in their pre-season fixtures hit the buffers  with a double defeat.

Having beaten Premier League Aston Villa just 24-hours after seeing off League One Southampton Frank Gray’s side

Hampshire neighbours Aldershot Town visited the Camrose on Saturday and picked up a 3-0 win.

Gray then took his side to Kent Premier League outfit Deal Town but the Dragons were comfortably seen off 2-0.

Easter to forget for Town

Basingstoke Town managed just a point from their two Easter fixtures as the season seems to be fizzling out for Frank Gray’s side.

Having avoided relegation last season the Dragons breathed fire at the start of the season and looked like play-off contenders. But a dour winless run at the Camrose has seen Town slip down the table.
