Basingstoke Buffalo ice hockey squad suffered a devastating loss on Sunday at home against Cardiff Satans.
The home side took an early lead within the first minute when Simon Beere netted, but the Satans struck back a few minutes later, equalling the scores at 1-1. Ross Beal gave the home side the lead again before the first break.
The visitors struck three unanswered goals in the second period to take command of the game and had a two-goal lead into the third period.
Three further goals by the Satans saw them in complete control of the game, and the Buffalo were only rewarded with a final-minute strike.
Buffalo face Wightlink Tigers on Sunday.
