Last gasp grief for 'Stoke

Second place ’Stoke's crunch match against league leaders Chichester ended in heartbreak when the game was snatched from them with a try deep into injury time.

At Down Grange, ’Stoke were aiming to extend their run of six unbeaten games in the London One South league.

Basingstoke's winning streak continues

BasingstokeRFCLogoAn eight-point win at Dover on Saturday meant that Basingstoke RFC made it six wins from six matches as their flawless start to the season continues.

Chineham fight for first season win

Chineham RFC demolished league leaders Fareham after coming from behind to bag their first win of the season 24-19  at home.

The win was their first in the London SE Hampshire 2 league, following defeats against Aldershot and Fleet, and Alresford.

Chineham seconds suffer third defeat of the season

Chineham's second string squad suffered their third defeat of the season when they hosted the Fareham Heathens on Saturday losing 26-19.

Chineham started the game off strongly, when a poor kick by Sam Purnell luck was in Chineham’s favour as the ball bounced nicely and  chased by Jordon Long to score his first try for the club within five minutes.

Unfortunately James Floyd’s conversion kicked was waved off by the referee and linesman, as Chineham lead 5-0.

Eight try haul 'Stoke bags new club record

BasingstokeRFCLogoBasingstoke rugby squad continued their unbeaten run with an eight-try haul against Thanet Wanderers.

The Down Grange side remain rooted in second place, nipping at the heels of London One South leaders Chichester.

Saturday’s home game saw a delighted ’Stoke side beat the club’s record for an unbeaten run at the start of the season as they bagged their fifth straight victory 59- 25.
