Basingstoke ObserverTHE horticulture team at Rosebourne Aldermaston are celebrating success in a national competition for their Autumn bulb displays.
The team were awarded a Silver Medal in Taylor’s Bulbs Autumn Bulbland Competition, run annually by the UK bulb grower based in Lincolnshire.
Rosebourne were praised for a well-planned display making it easy to shop and browse. The colourful signage, imagery, bulb boxes and customer leaflet also included information about key themes such as fragrance and lasagne planting.
Sam Digweed, Assistant Manager at Rosebourne Aldermaston commented: “It is great for the team to receive recognition for the effort that went into planning our Autumn Bulb Displays. To be runner’s up in a national competition is a great accolade. Bulbs are so versatile and a great way to add changing colour to your outdoor space and we are keen to spread the word and encourage more people to plant them.”
