Basingstoke and Deane Symposium

The closing event of the Basingstoke and Deane Festival will welcome guests from all different sectors within the conurbations, allowing the chance for you to interact with other businesses within the same industry and talk openly about issues, successes, and the future of your sector.

Each sector will break out into different rooms, for 1 hour, to create and discuss a detailed SWOT analysis.

At the end of the event all sector groups will come together, with each group sharing the outcomes from their discussions with everyone, meaning all guests come away with a clear view of the ‘bigger picture’ for business in the Basingstoke and Deane region.

The event will allow guests to be added to specific rooms depending on what sector, the different rooms/ sectors will include:

+ Recruitment, hosted by Sally-Ann Hall-Jones, Chief Executive Officer at Reality HR

+ Leisure & Tourism

+ Tech

+ Public Sector

+ Professional Services, hosted by Jack Gardener – Director at Phillips

+ Manufacturing/ Construction

All findings from the event will be made into a white paper and shared with the council, this will be available to download on the Evolve website.
