LODDON Valley Lions Treacle Fair returned to its traditional date of the first Sunday in June last weekend.
It was opened by the Deputy Mayor of Basingstoke, David Leeks, along with help from many volunteers and donations from various local businesses.
Hailed as a great success with many thousands of people in attendance as the weather remained kind for them.
This year’s fair featured many of the usual attractions, which included fairground rides, arena events, plus trade, craft, charity stands, as well as a tea tent, food court and licensed bar.
