TWO local venues have been recognised at The Beautiful South Awards 2021/22.
Oakley Hall Hotel won two silver accolades as Large Hotel Of The Year and Wedding Venue Of The Year whilst The Purefoy Arms also scooped the Silver Award for Pub of The Year.
The Beautiful South Awards ceremony, at the Grand Hotel Brighton on 25 April, was hailed a resounding success as it returned to live celebrations. Andrew Mosley, from headline sponsor the Grand, hosted the ceremony recognising the cream of the South East’s tourism industry.
More than 200 tourism and hospitality businesses enjoyed an evening of celebrations with 21 collecting gold awards, 22 Silver, 10 Bronze and a further 13 recognised with commended status.
