Basingstoke ObserverON Saturday 21 May the Gabardine Bar held a day of celebration to mark the 60th birthday of owner Kevin Nelson.
Regular customers and passers by joined friends and family for a day filled with live music, food, fun and a few celebratory drinks.
The sun was shining and the crowd enjoyed singing along to the variety of talented acts that took to the stage throughout the day.
Tapas and a Hog Roast ensured everyone was well fed as a constant stream of visitors dropped by to enjoy the fun.
Kevin shared: “It is lovely to see so many people here enjoying themselves and isn’t the music just great? It is so good to breathe life back into the Top of Town and we look forward to hosting many more events for the Platinum Jubilee and throughout the summer.”
