BREWDOG has opened its newest bar in Basingstoke.
Famed for its Punk IPA, the iconic chain started as an independent brewery in Scotland and now serves a range of draft beer on tap, as well as burgers, Buffalo wings, chicken and waffles.
BrewDog is the latest flagship brand to come to Festival Place, with popular burger chain Five Guys opening last December.
Centre Director Neil Churchill said: “This is a real coup for Festival Place and adds another top name to our food and drink offering.
We’re always looking for exciting new brands to bring to the centre and we’re sure the BrewDog bar will be a real hit with our customers.”
Beer fans can further rejoice, as there will be two guest taps to support the local breweries of Basingstoke all year round and weekly beer launches and collaborations.
James Brown, Managing Director of BrewDog, shared: “There’s currently no other bar offering quite like ours in the area, so this is a really exciting opportunity for us to bring our ethos of craft beer and sustainability to the town of Basingstoke. We’re a proud Living Wage employer that shares 10% of our profits with our team annually and work hard to invest back in our local team of 25, as well as engage with local suppliers and community projects in the area, so we can’t wait to become part of the Basingstoke community.”
