Basingstoke ObserverTHE superstars of SWF wrestling and Kapow wrestling are getting ready to rumble as they return to Basingstoke on Saturday 16 April.
The action-packed Easter spectacular takes place at the Popley Fields Community Centre and following on from their sell out show in January, matchmakers can’t wait to return to the new wrestling hotspot.
The star-studded line up, set to be the biggest wrestling show ever staged in Basingstoke includes tag team, solo action plus a ladies and championship showdown.
Among the stars booked to appear is the former TNA x-division champion the UK ambassador Doug Williams.
Williams undoubtedly the biggest name in British wrestling is a much travelled veteran of the ring having represented England all over the world including Japan, Germany and the Middle East but it was the USA where Williams really made his name working for the very popular TNA promotion where he became a multi title holder winning the TNA x division, television and tag team belts.
Williams is hoping the luck of Basingstoke helps him to win another title as he challenges the newly crowned Kapow Heroweight champion Kelly Sixx in the evenings main event.
The all-nations champion Big Money Bobby Vegas challenges the high flying Lionkid and Darcy Stone aims to become the number 1 contender for the girl’s title as she goes in against Nightshade.
All the action starts at 7pm with doors opening at 6.30pm, tickets can be purchased online at kapowwrestling.co.uk with any others available on the door.
